Where we live, many folks haul water, who are not on city. Many do not have a working well, if they have one at all, so the water gets poured into a cistern.
We have both a cistern and a well. Sometimes, our well goes dry, so we have to haul water for the cistern. I hope you enjoy this pictorial of us hauling water.
Here we are in our late 70’s model 4-door Chevy heading off to get water for our family to use.
