Now that you are comfy, let me tell you a little about myself. I am Ruth, mama to 12 mighty arrows for the Lord and five, which have gone on before us. At this point, I will mention only briefly that we have a blue healer dog and a miniature black cat. If I didn’t mention the rest of the family, someone would wonder why, so there you have it.

When my husband and I first married, neither of us wanted many children. My husband, Dennis, wanted one, but I encouraged him that we needed at least one other. During that pregnancy, and through circumstances and the drawing of the Holy Spirit, we both became followers of Christ. He has given us a different perspective on children and has guided us in raising them. It is only by His instruction, and much prayer, that we have such a super group of kids.

We have been home educating our children since the late 1980′s and have graduated two students so far. Three of my young-adult kids have been baptized in obedience.

This site is about our large family, about me, about the things that interest me and interest ladies like you. I want to be an encourager in your daily tasks… and as I share, it will be a reminder to me, as well.
