Rudolstadt Now that you are comfy, let me tell you a little about myself. I am Ruth, mama to 12 gifts from the Lord and five, which have gone on before us. At this point, I will mention only briefly that we have a small herd of Angus cattle, a cat, a cattle dog, and several horses. If I didn’t mention “the rest of the family”, someone would wonder why, so there you have it.
When my husband and I first married, neither of us wanted many children. My husband, Dennis, wanted one, but I encouraged him that we needed at least one other. During that pregnancy, and through circumstances and the drawing of the Holy Spirit, we both became followers of Christ. He has given us a different perspective on children and has guided us in raising them. It is only by His instruction, and much prayer, that we have had the wisdom and strength to raise them, because we certainly did not make it this far on our own.
We have been home educating our children since the late 1980’s and have graduated seven students so far, leaving a mere five that are being educated formally. My, how time flies!
This site is about our large family, about me, about the things that interest me and interest ladies like you. I want to be an encourager in your daily tasks… and as I share, it will be a reminder to me, as well.
