My kids talked me into Facebook. They also got me onto Twitter. I am enjoying both!
Facebook is a social networking site. You can find friends from high school, old places of work, family, friends, etc.
Twitter let’s you post what’s going on throughout your day. I have a neat FireFox extension that lets me know when more “tweets” come in.

I originally got my own FB to stay in the loop with the girls’ friends. Now my family have joined in, and some long lost friends too (not to mention all the hsers who are now on there that weren’t when I joined!)
I try to not do a WHOLE lot on there, because I would then be chained to the laptop! Boy, can it be time-consuming!
I do enjoy Twitter. We also use Twitterfox, and I love it that you can add a sound to it to alert you.
It’s nice to be able to just shoot something out there as a status and not have to write up an entire blog post.
I saw you tweeted Scripture this morning, and oh, did I like that.
