Love your ideas!! You have mini golf and miniature golf both. For my birthday this year we bought a bag of balls at driving range-very affordable.
-Go to an antique car show-usually free admission.
-Bring take out Chinese home, send the kids to bed early w/ books and flashlights and have a romantic dinner w/ candles, homemade dessert, etc

Ruth,
I just found your site somehow through Money Saving mom and I wanted to say THANK YOU for this blog. I'm learning many things, and find you informative, enlightening, and warm. Almost like a mother or grandmother passing wisdom. Please keep this up, I love it.... write a book even!

Hi,
I saw your comment over at TLH and thought I would stop by and check out your date ideas. They are great and inexpensive ideas...thank you for sharing! We have also saved up our quarters and gone out to a local arcade or a similar place and used quarters to pay for everything. It was fun and I did it as a surprise for dh, who loved the idea. I think I found the idea in a little book by the Rainey family from Family Life Today.
Blessings,
Tammy
